Plasnewydd Community Garden was set up in in the middle of the redevelopment area of Shelly Gardens in 2012. At the centre of this land stands an uncompleted wood construction. SHELTERNET was presented during Made In Roath 2013. During the festival, 700 meters of elastic band covered the structure revealing a hidden volume within it that you could only experience stepping in. The installation highlighted the garden as a place where people could meet and play, as well as hosting events such as a concert and poetry reading under its shelter. 

SHELTERNET received the support of Made in Roath and Plasnewydd Community Gardens. It run from October 20th to November 24th 2013.
